individual therapy

  • trauma - process childhood, relationship, family-of-origin, and cultural supremacy trauma and understand how they shape your relationship to yourself, your creative practices, your community, and the earth

  • relationship issues - explore relationship patterns, learn about your needs and boundaries, and practice how to share them with your people

  • identity development - strengthen your connection to your sense of self, identify your beliefs and values, and learn how your upbringing has influenced how you relate to yourself

  • life transitions - process significant life changes, such as moving, relationship transitions, grief, loss, and health-related changes

  • neurodivergence - explore the many aspects of neurodivergence: expansive ways of experiencing and sensing, stimming, executive “dysfunction”, burnout, and grief of late or no diagnosis

  • somatic connection - go beyond verbal processing and experience being with, building relationship to, and listening for the stories of your emotions, the images you see, sensations you feel, and the patterns within your body

  • depression, anxiety, c-ptsd - learn how your survival strategies (depression, anxiety, overthinking, avoidance, etc.) helped you make it here and what they’re trying to communicate to you

My approach to therapy exists outside of diagnosing and pathologizing your experiences

If exploring a diagnosis is important to you or for accessing healthcare services, such as gender-affirming care or surgery, or out-of-network reimbursement, I'm happy to offer support for depression, anxiety, PTSD, complex-PTSD, adjustment disorder, and gender dysphoria. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to reach out.

modalities + frameworks

Holistic Therapy considers the entire person - body, mind, spirit, and emotions - and uses a nonlinear approach to healing.

Internal Family Systems Therapy (Parts Work) can help you explore and relate to your inner world in a new way. It’s a practice of recognizing and connecting with different parts of yourself to bridge a nurturing and understanding relationship within.

Somatic Therapy explores how physical sensations and emotions are interconnected and teaches us to use our body’s signals as information for self-awareness and healing.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) focuses on understanding what is out of your control while committing to actions that improve your life. It uses mindfulness and thought distancing techniques to develop psychological flexibility and encourage values-based living.

Talk therapy can be helpful if you prefer to process what's happening verbally.

Additional Frameworks: Relational, Collaborative, Insight-Oriented, Psychodynamic, and Liberation-Forward
