what is integrative coaching?

Integrative Coaching is a specialized form of life coaching that focuses on belief systems, self-recovery, and personal growth. Coaching builds awareness, alignment, restores connection without delving into past experiences or traumas.

reasons people come to see me

Clarity and Self-Discovery

Learn your values, beliefs, and biases to help uncover limiting beliefs, reshape your perspectives, and connect with your most expansive self.

Embodied Connection

Cultivate a connection with your inner world by building a relationship to it. Practice being with your feelings and sensations instead of avoiding or being afraid of them.

Improve Relationships

Develop stronger relationships by gaining a deeper understanding of your needs and boundaries. Learn to effectively communicate your thoughts and feelings while exploring new ways to navigate conflict.

Adaptive Accountability

Uncover what motivates you and learn what steps are needed for the changes you seek. In each session, we’ll discuss what went well and what needs to shift, then adjust our approach accordingly.

“Korrine is very empathetic and gave me a lot of space to speak about what I have been struggling with. They gave me different examples to look more within my values and the context of situations to figure out how to move forward.”

modalities + frameworks

Holistic Coaching considers the entire person - body, mind, spirit, and emotions - and uses a nonlinear approach.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) can help you explore and understand your inner world in a new way. It involves recognizing and establishing connections with various "parts" of yourself to foster healing and integration.

Transformational Coaching supports you in making meaningful changes in your life by exploring your beliefs, values, and behaviors while practicing new ways of thinking and being.

Additional Frameworks: Relational, Liberation-Forward, Insight-Oriented, Feminist, and Person-Centered

What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?

  • Coaching focuses on personal growth in the present and future, while therapy generally focuses on processing past experiences and trauma.

  • For coaching, we can work together no matter where you live, but if you’re seeking therapy, we can only work together if you live in Michigan or New York due to state licensing restrictions.

  • Coaches are unable to diagnose or write letters for medical care. If you’re interested in exploring a potential diagnosis or require a letter for medical care, visit my resources page to find a therapist in your area.

  • Although coaching can be therapeutic, it is not intended to replace therapy. If you're uncertain whether coaching or therapy is best for you, we can explore this further during our consultation.

“Not only has Korrine helped me to find useful solutions for taking steps forward without rushing into decisions that wouldn't serve me, they have also helped me to feel more content with my situation and confident that things will fall into place if I continue to trust myself! I have loved working with them!”
