what is integrative coaching?
Integrative coaching is a holistic, experiential process. It’s less about "fixing" what is broken and more about aligning your daily actions with your deepest values. Together, we focus on personal, emotional, and relational wellbeing through a lens of liberation and self-compassion.
Unlike traditional goal-setting, our work is often nonlinear. We listen to the stories your emotions are telling, the images that show up for you, and the patterns living within your body.

Deconstruct beliefs and identify the underlying systems and "parts" that influence how you move through the world
Learn the language of your inner world by practicing being with your emotions, images, and bodily patterns

Holistic Coaching considers the entire person - body, mind, spirit, and emotions - and uses a nonlinear approach.
Internal Family Systems (Parts Work) can help you explore and understand your inner world in a new way. It involves recognizing and establishing connections with various "parts" of yourself to support healing and integration.
Transformational Coaching supports you in making meaningful changes in your life by exploring your beliefs, values, and behaviors while practicing new ways of relating and being.

What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?
If you feel relatively resourced but you’re feeling “stuck” or unsure of how to move forward, coaching could be a great fit for you. If you’re experiencing significant distress or trauma that interferes with daily living, therapy would be the best starting point.
Coaching focuses on personal growth in the present and future, while therapy focuses on processing trauma and past experiences.
With coaching, we can work together wherever you are in the world. For therapy, we can only work together if you live in Michigan, New York, or Florida due to state licensing restrictions.
Coaches are unable to diagnose or write letters for medical care. If you’re interested in exploring a potential diagnosis or require a letter for medical care, visit my resources page to find a therapist in your area.
Although coaching can be therapeutic, it is not a replacement for therapy. If you are uncertain which path is best for you, we will explore this further during our initial consultation to ensure you are matched with the right level of support.
