individual therapy
complex trauma - trace the roots: childhood wounds, family patterns, intergenerational legacies, systemic harm. make sense of how the past and present lives in your body, your relationships, your creativity, and your connection to the world around you.
relationship issues - get curious about how you show up with the people in your life. recognize old patterns, discover what you actually need, and find your voice when it matters most.
identity - who are you underneath the roles and the stories you've been told? clarify your values, reconnect with yourself, and build a more grounded sense of who you are and what you stand for.
life transitions - moving, loss, relationship changes, health challenges. life doesn't always change on your timeline or terms. make sense of what's shifting and find your footing.
neurodivergence - explore the full picture: the expansive ways you experience and sense the world, the executive function battles, the exhaustion of masking, and if diagnosis came late (or not at all), the grief of these experiences.
somatic connection - move beyond words and listen to the information that lives in your sensations, images, and emotions. build a relationship with your inner world that goes beyond thinking and talking about it.
depression, anxiety, c-ptsd - your coping strategies - shutting down, worrying, avoiding, overthinking - weren't failures. they got you through. understand what they've been protecting you from and what they might be trying to say now.
relationship therapy openings are full
I am not accepting new relationship therapy participants at this time, as all openings and waitlist positions are currently filled.
have a space to check-in and go deeper with your partner(s)
learn ways to make difficult conversations feel more approachable
explore relationship patterns and understand what’s underneath them
practice communication techniques that will shift you out of blame and defensiveness and into connection and understanding
discuss significant life transitions such as moving in together, opening up your relationship, or relationship dynamics changing
discuss boundaries and agreements that feel supportive to everyone
My approach to therapy exists outside of diagnosing and pathologizing your experiences
If exploring a diagnosis is important to you, or if you need support accessing healthcare services such as gender-affirming care, surgery, or assistance with out-of-network reimbursement, I will gladly discuss these options with you.
modalities + frameworks
Holistic Therapy considers the entire person - body, mind, spirit, and emotions - and uses a nonlinear approach to healing.
Internal Family Systems Therapy (Parts Work) can help you explore and relate to your inner world in a new way. It’s a practice of recognizing and connecting with different parts of yourself to bridge a nurturing and understanding relationship within.
Somatic Therapy explores how physical sensations and emotions are interconnected and teaches us to use our body’s signals as information for self-awareness and healing.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps sort out what you can and can't control. Through mindfulness and learning to step back from unhelpful thoughts, you build more flexibility in how you respond to life, and start making choices that feel more aligned with what actually matters to you.
Talk Therapy can help you work through what's been sitting with you, untangling what's been hard to see on your own.
Additional Frameworks: Relational, Collaborative, Insight-Oriented, Psychodynamic, and Liberation-Forward
If you'd like to work together but don't live in Michigan, New York, or Florida no worries!
